Positions

Positions in CIS define specific roles and duties that participants perform during competitions (e.g. Expert, ATM, Other Label). Each position has a descriptive name and inherits permissions from a selected User Group type.
Creating New Positions
- Click "Add Position" at the bottom of the positions table
- Enter Position Details:
- Name: Descriptive title for the role (e.g., "Deputy Chief Expert", "ATM", "Expert Lead", "Technical Support" etc.)
- Position Type: Select from available User Group types:
- Competitor: For competition participants
- Expert: For judges and assessors
- External Marker: For external evaluators
- Other role: Any other custom role previously defined in "User Groups"
- Save the new position
Editing Existing Positions
- Click the "Edit" button (yellow pencil icon) next to any position
- Modify position details:
- Update the position name
- Change the position type if needed
- Save changes to update the position
Removing Positions
- Click the "Remove" button (red X icon) next to the position
- Confirm deletion when prompted
Position Dependencies
Positions that are allready assigned to users in the competition cannot be deleted. Remove all relationships first (allocated users), or the deletion will fail.
